E3: Tekken's Kazuya Mishima joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate

Kazuya, one of the primary characters of the Tekken series, has been announced as the next fighter joining the Super Smash Bros. Ultimate roster.

Revealed at the start of the Nintendo Direct at E3 2021, Tekken's Kazuya is the fifth character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's second fighter pass, and its 11th post-launch character overall. He marks the debut of the Tekken series into the Smash Bros. universe.

A special broadcast will air on 28 June with Masahiro Sakurai, which will reveal more about Kazuya's moveset, as well as the release date for the new content.

Kazuya Mishima Joins the Battle!: Kazuya Mishima from the TEKKEN fighting game series joins Super Smash Bros. Ultimate as the latest DLC fighter in Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which also includes Min Min from ARMS, Steve & Alex from Minecraft, Sephiroth from FINAL FANTASY VII and Pyra/Mythra from Xenoblade Chronicles 2, along with one final yet-to-be-announced fighter. More information about Kazuya, including his exact release date, will be revealed in a special video presentation hosted by Masahiro Sakurai on June 28.
