Square Enix announces Heroes of Ruin for Nintendo 3DS

By Jack Taylor – 31 May 2011

Square Enix has confirmed that Heroes of Ruin will launch exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS in the early part of next year.

The game, developed by n-Space, has been rumoured for some time and was unofficially leaked last week by the team when a piece of concept artwork was published on their Facebook page.

Heroes of Ruin will provide co-op play for up to four players, both online and offline, and will also utilise features such as SpotPass and StreetPass to download challenges and swap items with other players.

Square Enix has also confirmed that the game will be playable at E3 2011, which kicks off one week today.

Surely that's old news by now...
