Splatoon 3 will receive an update to version 10.0.0, with new content and Nintendo Switch 2 enhancements, later this week.
Announced via the Nintendo Today! app alongside the new Splatoon Raiders spin-off, Splatoon 3 will receive its next major update - to version 10.0.0 - on 12 June.
The update introduces the Splatlands Collection, featuring 30 new weapons from the Barazushi and Emberz brands; all are based on previous weapons, with new features, subweapons, and more. Weapons' freshness caps will also be raised, while new in-game badges are being added as well.
A new stat called Series Weapon Power is also being added to Anarchy Battle, which will track players' effectiveness with each weapon, and will also be used for more accurate matchmaking.
The classic Urchin Underpass stage from the original Splatoon will also return as a stage as part of the version 10 update, which will also provide benefits to Nintendo Switch 2 players including enhanced visuals and frame rate.
